About God's Word

The Word of God is...

The Word of God is the infallible, indestructible, ever-living, life-giving, source of revelation from God to mankind (Rom. 16:25-26; 2 Tim. 3:16). It provides absolute truth concerning God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit as being one entity actively working together in the lives of believers in order to bring about God’s full purpose (John 17:19-23). It explains God’s way of salvation as a gift of grace that comes only by grace through faith in the risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ (Eph. 2:8-9). Through actively believing that Christ rose from the dead three days after being crucified on a cross, confessing Him as Lord and Savior, repenting of our sins, and inviting Him to become the Lord of our lives, one can be born again to a new life of purity and power, in Christ (Rom.10:9-10; Rev. 3:20; John 3:3; 2 Cor.5:17). Those who purposefully refuse the gift of salvation choose to face the consequences of his/her sin by being eternally separated from God forever in hell (Ro.3:23; 6:23).

About Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ was born of the Holy Spirit to the virgin Mary (Is.7:14, Luke 1:27,31,34,35)He lived a sinless life (2 Cor. 5:21; Heb. 4:15, 7:26; 1 Peter 1:19,22)He died a guiltless death on a cross (I Peter 2:24)He was bodily resurrected after three days (Acts 26:23; Matt. 20:19)He ascended into heaven (Mark 16:19, Acts 1:9)He now sits at the right hand of God (I Peter 3:22)He continually intercedes for His people (Romans 8:34)Jesus will soon return to receive His bride, the church, and take us to heaven where we will dwell with Him forevermore (Matt.26:64; Luke 21:27; Acts 1:11). Baptism Should...

We believe that baptism should follow salvation by being obedient to the command and example of Christ (Matthew 3:16-17; Matthew 28:19; Acts 10:48).Baptism is an outward sign that an inward change has taken place. It signifies that we have died to the old lifestyle and have been raised in newness of life and Godliness, in Christ (Colossians 2:12). Baptism is a testimony of a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ (Galatians 3:27).

About The Holy Spirit

Holy Spirit indwells...

The Holy Spirit indwells the believer at the point of salvation and seals him/her for eternal life. The Holy Spirit is actively working in the believer’s life to convict of sin, help him/her live in victory over sin, and guide believers into all truth (John 16:7-14; 2 Corinthians 1:22; Ephesians 1:13, 4:30).The Holy Spirit divinely gives gifts to each believer for the edification of the church (1 Corinthians 12). When these gifts are manifested, it is a magnificent work of God and all who encounter it are blessed.

About Addiction

Addiction is Not...

ADDICTION IS NOT the PROBLEM. It is a SYMPTOM of a root problem. We believe that absolute FREEDOM & LIBERATION from addiction(even the desire to use) is available and can become an experienced reality in anyone no matter who you are, where you have been, or what you have done. We believe that all vicious cycles of behavior or thinking stem from LIES that we believe at the core of who we really are. But the good news is as TRUTH shines light on these places, the result, over time, is exactly what Jesus said would happen, “TRUTH sets us FREE.” If TRUTH sets us FREE, then LIES hold us in BONDAGE and SLAVERY to a lifestyle that is MUCH LESS than Jesus promised. For He said, I have come to give them life "to the fullest.”We believe that God has divinely anointed and appointed 180 Degrees Ministries® teach individuals how to live the most incredible life possible. God has supernaturally revealed the process of going from experiencing addiction and anything else that is less than God's best to who GOD HAS DESIGNED YOU TO BE...in FREEDOM!!

Simple, life changing, easy to understand. This book will answer all the questions for anyone God his drawing away from a works based definition of Christianity. This book is for that Christian who is tired of trying harder and never seeming to get to that abundant life Jesus promised. This is not another self help book like the title suggest. As a matter of fact I almost didn't buy the book because of the title. You assume that "Getting your life on Target" is another attempt by another author to show you all you need to do more of to be accepted by God but don't be mislead. It is not that at all. Great book, connected a lot of the dots for me.
